Time Value of Money Formula Index
The following pages show the most common formulas that you will need to solve time value of money problems. A key to the variable definitions is at the bottom of each page. Please note that there is no explanation of the formulas on these pages. These are just formula pages.
You must have JavaScript enabled in your browser for this site in order to see the formulas on these pages. I use the MathJax JavaScript Library to display these formulas. You can click the equations to show a zoomed version in a pop-up, or right-click on the formulas for additional options (e.g., to copy the equation as $\TeX$ or to choose the zoom settings).
Explanations for all of the formulas can be found on the time value of money tutorial pages.
If you need to create equations for your own purposes, I recommend the equation editor in your favorite word processor, if it has one. All of the Office 365 programs have a reasonably competent one that is based on MathType from Wiris, which acquired Design Science in 2017.
